The Fox Rampage RS Abyss represents the pinnacle of Fox’s full-face MTB helmet lineup. Developed as an evolution of the legendary Rampage Pro Carbon (RPC) model, it’s built for the most demanding downhill tracks, racing, and bike-park riding. This is a helmet for riders who don’t want to compromise on protection, weight, fit, or comfort.

A lightweight carbon shell, the advanced Mips® Integra Split system, dual-layer protective construction, and a premium Ionic+® interior form a package designed for riding at the highest level. The Rampage RS is equipped with technologies and details demanded by professional racers.

Mips® Integra Split – advanced protection inside the helmet

Mips® Integra Split is integrated directly into the helmet’s protective construction and is designed to help reduce rotational motion of the head in certain impacts. The system enables controlled relative movement between the protective layers, helping absorb and redirect part of the energy and forces that would otherwise be transferred to the head.

Carbon shell – built for the highest level

The outer shell made of carbon fiber delivers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. In aggressive downhill riding, lower helmet mass means less unnecessary load on the head and neck and a more natural feel during quick changes of direction.

Beneath the carbon shell is a dual-layer protective construction designed to manage energy from impacts at different speeds.

Race-ready protection for the most demanding descents

The Rampage RS is not an ordinary full-face helmet. Its design stems from the demands of competitive downhill mountain biking, where speeds are high, terrain is unpredictable, and protection is essential. The helmet also meets the ASTM F1952 standard for downhill MTB use.

Channels through the EPS improve airflow through the interior of the helmet and help dissipate heat during intense descents, races, and long days in the bike park.

Premium Ionic+® interior

The premium feel continues inside. The removable and washable Ionic+® liner and cheek pads are designed for effective moisture wicking, while antimicrobial properties help control the development of unpleasant odors.
