1. General
The merchant commits to protecting the confidentiality of personal data and the privacy of online store users. The merchant will use collected personal data exclusively for performing the services it offers. The merchant respects the confidentiality of personal data and the privacy of online store users, and therefore will take all necessary measures to protect them from any violations and misuse. Personal data of users is one of the areas to which the merchant devotes extraordinary care and attention, as it is aware of the sensitive nature of this field.
2. Use of Personal Data
The merchant, for the purposes of providing the services it offers, collects, maintains, processes and stores the following user data:
- name and surname;
- Delivery address;
- company or name of legal entity (if the user is a legal entity);
- tax number of a legal entity (if the user is a legal entity);
- email address (username);
- password in encrypted form;
- contact telephone number;
- state of residence;
- other data that the user voluntarily enters in forms in the online store;
- other data that the user voluntarily adds later in their profile.
The Merchant is not responsible for the correctness, completeness, and timeliness of the data entered by users.
3. Cookies and IP Addresses
The merchant assigns each user a cookie upon each use of the online store for identification, tracking of the shopping cart and ensuring traceability (so-called "cookie"), which is stored in the server memory only for the duration of the visit to the online store and is deleted after one hour of inactivity. The merchant may also save some permanent cookies on the user's personal computer, such as the user's identification number in encrypted form for recognition upon the next visit to the online store or article ratings, by means of which the user knows which articles they have already rated, and indirectly also cookies from the external service Google Analytics, which serve to analyze visits to the website. The merchant may use this data in anonymized summary form for the purposes of statistical analysis. For the purposes of ensuring web security, the merchant also collects IP addresses from which users access the online store.
4. Statement on Protection of Confidentiality of Personal Data and User Privacy
The merchant is obliged, in accordance with regulations governing the protection of personal data, to protect the personal data of users of its online store. The merchant will not, under any circumstances, disclose the personal or other data of the user to a third party without the user's express consent, nor will it allow a third party to access the personal or other data of the user, except if required to do so by state authorities, if such an obligation is determined by law, or in good faith that such action is necessary for proceedings before courts or other state bodies and for the protection and enforcement of the merchant's legitimate interests.
All personal and other data that the user will provide when registering in the online store, as well as when placing orders for products, including the content of orders, will be protected in accordance with regulations governing the protection of personal data. The merchant will not use this data for any purpose that could harm the user or any other involved party. The merchant may use the data in anonymized summary form for statistical analysis purposes. The confidentiality of users' personal and other data will not be breached in any form.
The Merchant will provide the delivery service only with the necessary data for delivery of products purchased in the online store (recipient information and delivery address). The Merchant will contact the user via email if necessary to complete the purchase in the online store, and via the contact phone number only if problems arise during the registration or purchase process in the online store, or if the delivery service requires it for better delivery service.
5. Privacy Policy Implementation
All persons employed by the Merchant on a regular or honorary basis who have access to personal and other user data are informed of the obligation to protect personal and other data and are required to comply with these provisions on the protection of confidentiality of personal data and privacy of e-commerce users. The obligation to protect personal and other data applies without time limitation, even after the termination of the relationship with the Merchant.
Registered users can stop using the online store at any time and can cancel their registration. They do this by submitting a written statement to the Merchant notifying them of the cancellation of registration. Before submitting a cancellation statement, the user must settle all outstanding obligations to the Merchant arising from purchases made in the online store. The Merchant will protect the confidentiality of personal data and the privacy of online store users in accordance with this privacy policy, even in the event of cancellation of registration.
